Our Policy Applies to the entire Web site.
Protecting your privacy is important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how On The Go Publishing safeguards the personal information you provide us at our web site.
On The Go Publishing's philosophy is to help make your travels more enjoyable, less costly, better
planned and safer so that you can get the most out of every travel experience.
Travel writer Chris Welsch of the Minneapolis Star Tribune calls our site
"an excellent travel resource."
- We do not collect your information online. When you browse our web site, we do not track the pages you visit or how long you stay. We do not collect your e-mail address if you take a survey, communicate with us, or register your information with us. We do not use "cookies" for collecting your information.
- We never sell, rent, trade, or give away your information. To make it real simple, we never sell, rent, trade, or give away your information. We collect your information only to complete a transaction. Once you provide your personal information such as name, address, and e-mail address, we keep on file as part of your customer history and to communicate with you about your pending order. At times, we may e-mail you with a special offer for our products.
- No Means No. If you voluntary want to sign up for our free Travel Savings Alerts Newsletter, we are glad to have you as a subscriber. Sign up is “opt-in” meaning it is your choice to subscribe. If you no longer wish to receive the Travel Savings Alerts Newsletter, every edition let’s you know how to cancel the subscription, or in internet-talk how to "opt-out." As with online customer information from transactions, we never sell, rent, trade, or give away your information.
- Your Transactions are Secure.
When you purchase one of our products or publications, rest assured, your transaction is secure. Credit card orders are processed through the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol that encrypts personal information being transferred over the Internet. To insured security, look for the closed lock on your task bar. As a double security safeguard, our protocol does not send your credit card number with your order information. Your customer records are even password protected in our offices to safeguard against unauthorized employee access to your information.
- Policy Changes. If changes are made to our privacy policy, they will be noted on this page. If you have any questions about security and privacy, don’t hesitate to contact us.
